Min-jung Park
Korean Language Teacher
Particles, politeness, and 90s ballads.
About
Min-jung holds an M.A. in Korean Linguistics from Seoul National University and has taught Korean to international students at Yonsei Korean Language Institute since 2018. She specializes in particle grammar (은/는, 이/가) and politeness levels — the two parts of Korean that adult learners report as the biggest source of confusion. Her writing leans on classroom observations and on the standards published by the National Institute of the Korean Language. A native of Seoul, she is a lifelong K-pop fan with a soft spot for 90s and 2000s ballads.
