1. Eligibility

• If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent.

2. Account Registration

• You may register using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Use of Service

• koko ai provides AI-powered Korean language learning, including conversation practice, corrections, and feedback.
• You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Prohibited activities include:
  • Using the Service for illegal or harmful purposes
  • Harassing, abusing, or harming other users or staff
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service

4. Content

• You retain ownership of the content you create (voice input, chat, etc.), but you grant koko ai a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process such content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
• We may use anonymized and aggregated data for research and service improvement.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

• Some features of koko ai may require payment (e.g., premium plans).
• Payments are processed securely via Apple/Google In-App Purchases or third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe).
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
• Subscription plans automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.

6. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
  • Violate these Terms
  • Misuse the Service
  • Cause harm to other users or the platform
• Upon termination, your access will cease immediately, but legal obligations (e.g., outstanding payments) may survive.

7. Intellectual Property

• koko ai, its logo, and related designs are owned by the Company.
• You may not copy, distribute, or modify our intellectual property without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

• The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate services.
• koko ai is an educational tool and not a substitute for professional language instruction.

9. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, koko ai shall not be liable for:
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the Service
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the last 12 months.

10. Privacy

• Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

11. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Seoul, South Korea.

• We may update these Terms from time to time.

• Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
